My refuge and my strength
My comfort and my care
My hope through all despair
You are a shield about me
My Rock and one sure friend
My light and only way
My joy through times of pain
You are a shield about me
Through the desert and the storm
You have kept me with Your love
With Your love yeah
Lord You are so good
Your love reaches to the skies
Your faithfulness to mountain heights
And Your mercy’s never ending
Lord You are so good
Your love reaches to the skies
Your faithfulness to mountain heights
Your mercy’s never ending
Your promise never fails
Your promise never fails
(Through the desert and the storm)
Your promise never fails
(Through the desert and the storm)
Your promise never fails
Your promise never fails
Your promise never fails
You are a shield about me
