Aband aband abandon ship
Jump into the lifeboat of the Lord
Aband aband abandon ship
Jump into the lifeboat of the Lord
I used to be all at sea
Drifting round and round
I never knew that I could be
Rescued safe and sound
And then a lifeboat came around
And I was pulled aboard
Although my life had run aground
I was rescued
Then the Captain said to me
I’ve got a job for you
You’ve been pulled out from the sea
So you can join the crew
And now I’m asking you to train
And learn to love and care
So you can go to sea again
And rescue those out there
