For The Letting Go

I have tried my very best
I’ve been holding on for dear life
Far away in the wilderness, kissed my innocence goodbye
Empty handed, all alone and stranded
I came to the end of my hope
And now I know

If it wasn’t for the letting go
If it wasn’t for the giving up
I wouldn’t have anything at all to call my own
If it wasn’t for Your promise made
If it wasn’t for the love You gave
I wouldn’t have anyone at all to bring me home

Every dream I left behind, could it come back to me once more?
Could the age of innocence ever really be restored?
Full forgiveness, unconditional
Love has found me and brought me back home
And now I know

How can I say thank You
Words are not enough
All that’s left for me to do is
Totally surrender to Your love
