And when Christ receives the kingdom
He will bow before God’s throne
And deliver up to the Father
All that He has won
From before the earth’s foundations
And creation came to be
God declar’d Christ rule over nations
Through a people He would free
It was God’s eternal purpose
That the sons of God should rise
Handing over all things to Jesus
Whose glory fills the skies
