You came to bring us hope
You came to give us life
Call us from darkness
Into glorious light
See this gift of grace
See this gift of love
Father God has lavished, over all of us
See him on the cross
See him raised to life
Jesus Christ the victor
Now we glorify
The weight of every sin
The fullness of our shame
The finished work of Christ
Forever overcame
The one who was
The one who is
And forever will be
You came for love
Endured the cross
Mercy triumphed for me
To cross the great divide
Into the Father’s arms
