GOD, THE LORD,
Creator of heaven and earth,
Gives breath, gives life to the people.
God the Lord,
Who calls you in righteousness,
Will hold you and watch over you,
To make you as light to the nations.
To open blind eyes,
To set prisoners free,
Proclaiming liberty;
Healing the wounds
Of all the oppressed,
And be good news.
The Spirit of the Lord is on me, in me,
Filling me, thrilling me now;
Appointing me, anointing me
