HE’S MY FRIEND WHEN I AM HAPPY
He’s my friend when I am sad.
He’s the closest friend that I have ever had.
He’s my friend when I am noisy,
He’s my friend when I am still,
And I know He’s very close when I am ill.
God’s love’s higher than the highest star;
He hears prayers faster than the fastest car!
He knows me better than I know myself,
And guess what? He’s my friend.
I know I can never hide from Him,
Behind the curtains or in the bin.
He loves me even when I’m far from Him
And guess what? He’s my friend.
