Jesus Light of the world
Jesus Light of the world
Shining out for all to see
His glory power love and peace
Jesus Light of the world
The star shone bright in Bethlehem
Announcing good will to men
The angels sang of peace on earth
Proclaiming news of our Saviour’s birth
Goodness came from heav’n above
To show us the Father’s love
Born into darkness to bring us light
Hope burned bright on this holy night
Wonderful Counsellor
Mighty God Prince of peace
