When the mountain seems too high
And the river way too wide
There’s a hand that is waiting
To lead to the other side
Never forget there is hope
Never forget there is hope
Stay in His will and He’ll
Show you the way
Give you a sunnier day
With words that can teach you
A love that will stay
Never forget there is hope
Remembrance the scripture is
Tried and is true
Patiently waiting for you
With words that will lead you
Through all that you do
For everything that was written
In the past
Is there to give us courage
For our trouble will not last
And in the Holy Bible
You will find there is a way
To make it to tomorrow
Where God will make a better day
