No Room At The Inn

Tired Mary and Joseph
Travelled a long, long way.
They arrived in Bethlehem
But needed a place to stay
The town was very busy
The hotels they were full
But one kind owner said
If you don’t mind
You can sleep in my stable

They went a
Knock knock knockin’
No room at the Inn
They went a
Knock knock knockin’
No room at the Inn
They travelled far and wide
All the rooms were occupied
A roof over their head
And somewhere for a bed
Is what they needed
No room at the inn.

Thank you for your offer
The stable’s where we’ll sleep
We can’t go on, we’ll share a bed
With donkeys, cows and sheep
The smell may not be pleasant
They’ll be a lot of noise
But Mary said the baby’s on its way
So we really don’t have a choice!
