God made 1
He made another 1
He called them 1.
You say that’s not true
It’s got to be 2
Coz 1 + 1 is not 1, But 2.
You are talking of Math
But I’m talking the fact about love.
The lonely hearts club in the Garden of Eden
Had a membership of 1
Adam’s animal pals had their own gals.
And life for them was fun
They went walking 2 by 2
Adam sat there feeling blue
Coz a kangaroo as a soul mate wouldn’t do
The Father God put Adam to sleep
And from his rib He made his wife
Adam’s waking eyes widened in surprise
to see his bride right by his side
He stood up and took her hand
Songs of love then filled the land
God blessed them and said the 2 shall be as 1
No more innocence now after the fall
A moral darkness fills this land
Many millions or more
Like never before
Choose the lies that they have heard
Bleeding Hearts and wounded lives
Broken vows on every side
As man divides what God has joined as one
