WHEN YOU LOOK AT ME,
Tell me what do you see?
Colour, religion, or another human being?
The need is urgent,
Got to live what we say.
It’s time to work as one,
Make a difference today.
This world’s the house where we all live.
We can make it home and love is all we need.
One voice, one heart,
Joining all together, shining light in the dark.
One faith to see
The world can be a better place if we believe.
Hand in hand so we can make a start:
One voice, one heart.
(One voice, one heart,
It’s time we make a start.
One voice, one heart,
Stop talk and walk the walk.)
Tear stained memories, cries of despair.
Silence and sorrow, God, are You there?
There’s a story that needs to be sung.
There’s joy in the morning,
For a new day has come.
A message clear for all to see:
Hope is here, yes, love is all we need.
Giving all that we can give to save the dying.
And all the countless images
Of children crying.
There’s got to be a way that we can all respond.
Together as one, the way is love.
