There are mountains before me
And valleys to cross
But wherever I travel
I’ll seek to make known
The name of my Saviour
Who poured out His blood
And offered Himself
For the sin of this world
And I’ll tell of His saving grace
No one can earn
As I carry the flame
Of His unchanging love
To the weak and the wounded
To the hurt and the lost
Let my life be a pilgrimage
Given to God
Everywhere that I walk
On the face of this earth
I will live for the glory
Of Jesus my Lord
For the riches of this world
Are nothing compared
To the joy set before me
In doing His will
Surely goodness and mercy
Shall follow after me
All the days of my life
As I go where He leads
To the weak and the wounded
To the hurt and the lost
Let my life be a pilgrimage
Given to God
