WHAT GREATER GIFT HAS EVER BEEN KNOWN?
What greater love has ever been shown?
That God himself would leave His throne
Swap heaven’s crown for this dark earth

How precious must we be to You?
How special in Your eyes we are?
Though we have sinned Your love is true
Almighty God we worship You

But it’s so sad that ev’ry day
Outrageous love is turned away
And men choose death instead of life
Rejecting You for an earthly prize

But one day soon, across the skies
You will return before our eyes
And to their knees all men will fall
Before their King, our Christ, our Lord
