WHEN NO ONE ELSE WILL WALK BESIDE ME
Through longest hours of deepest night
I hear Your footsteps in the silence
I feel the warmth of Your sweet light
When dark times crush my failing spirit
Confusion racks my quiet hours
I feel Your love & grace approach me
I know the touch of higher powers
Walk beside me Jesus
Lend Your Spirit to my own
Light this path before me
Help me find a way back home
;
I feel so far from my redemption
Doubts assail my peace of mind
I feel Your hand upon my shoulder
Peace at last in You I find
I know you’ll walk with me in this valley
Like You walk with me on the mountain top
