You left Your throne and Your kingly crown
When You came down to earth for me
But in Bethlehem they found no room
For Your holy nativity
The heavens rang when the angels sang
Proclaiming Your royal decree
But of lowly birth You came to earth
And in greatest humility
Oh come oh come
There is room in my heart for You
Oh come Jesus come
There is room in my heart for You
Heaven shall ring and her choirs shall sing
When You come in Your victory
And You’ll call me home saying
There is room there is room at My throne for you
Oh come oh come
There is room in my heart for You
Oh come Jesus come
There is room in my heart for You
There is room in my heart
Oh come to my heart Lord
Jesus there’s room in my heart for You
