IT’S BEEN LONG and it’s been dry
Hardly a cloud seen in the sky
Then heaven’s wind began to blow in
With the smell of rain filling hopes again
Wash away our sin O sweet rain
Blow away our fears snd our pain
O sweet rain
The sky grew dark and the thunder rolled
Sweet drops of rain fell on dry souls
We looked up and we looked in
Our hearts alive it’s raining again
Your sweet wind has blown across our face
You have come and refreshed us with Your rain
You have given us the hope we were longing for
Let Your wind blow let Your rain pour
