Lay down your cares
Let all your troubles fade
Lay down your fears
No need to be afraid
Reach out to God
By night and by day
Angels are here
To guide you on your way
Lay down your past
The things you cannot change
Lay down regret
It wraps your heart in chains
Trust in your god
By night and by day
Angels are here
To guide you on your way
Lay hold of hope
With every new day’s dawn
Lay hold of life
And let new dreams be born
Live for your God
By night and by day
Angels are here
To guide you on your way
