Long ago, a mystery unfolded
A rescue plan for all of humankind
God Himself born of the virgin Mary
Lived this life, that life in Him we’d find
Glory to God! Hear the angels singing
For this day a Saviour has been born
Heaven opens! Shepherds watch in awe
One day all will see the glory of the Lord
Hallelujah! Hallelujah! All glory to Your name
God who walked with us, lived as one of us
For love, O Lord, You came
For love, O Lord, You came
Come and see the baby in the manger
The King of kings in a stable found
Lord of lords, humility You chose
Now side by side, kings and shepherds bow
